Health care in this economy isn’t about well health. I have been saying this for years to my clients here at Denver Acupuncture that is why I always let them know I have been a coach or mentor before I started doing acupuncture. I have been doing acupuncture for 22 years. Amazing and the best part is I get to help people have a great life 
with stellar health.
As a business mentor starting a new business is hard and with this economy it’s not fun trying to keep your brick and mortar business going. I get it when you find yourself without a job. That is what happened to me not once but twice many years ago before I got the bright idea to be a business coach for myself and not for a medical practice consulting firm.
As I build my speaking at events all over the country I was lucky to also go back to school to learn acupuncture. I added books and coaching to my bundle of expertise. In essence, I did a re-invention of myself. I utilized my knowledge of health care from my coaching business to build my successful health practice. If this economy has you wondering where to go career wise you may need to reinvent yourself using your lifetime of knowledge to build that career. Remember, going back to school isn’t always the best way. When I coach others, we look at all their areas of knowledge to find the answers.
Will re-inventing yourself help you? If you are out of work or so stressed out with your job that you are having health problems maybe it’s time to look at ways to use your current life experience to add a multi- stream of income to your household. It may also serve you if you are out of work to use your know-how to help others who want to learn what you know! it this possible – absolutely.
The first place you want to start is doing a review of all your skills even ones you use every day that you may not realize others would love to learn. A recent coaching client took her homeschooling experience and turned it into a course for other parents with disabled children. A male teacher who couldn’t find work started a program for parents, schools, sports teams on Peer Pressure and Bullying. He talks at various events and is sells an online version of his course for parents who want to know how to deal with this problem. Unhappy with your career or looking for a new one do a re-invention of yourself.
