Are You Just Going to
Complain About Your Health Or
Do Something About It?
From the desk of: Debra Arko
The Healthy People Expert
Are you just sick of 'being sick'. You know the back pain,
insomnia, stress, even allergies get in the road!
Agh. . . that's how most clients first arrive at my office.
Ready for the anything - hoping for an answer or better yet
a quick fix to pain so they can go on vacation and run along
the beach.
Perhaps the job or an injury are too much so you just need
to get a handle on the stress and yes sometimes the
sleepiness nights.
When spring hits the allergies kick in and replace the sinus
infections and off you go on another roller-coaster ride of
one health problem to another.
You seldom complain "why bother" right? Everyone has these
problems and more including acid reflux, carpal tunnel and
you're lucky that it's not worse, right?
Why this is all part of getting 'old'. . . right? WRONG!
But at some point you realize this is not okay. You want
more from life. You don't want drugs and surgery. You want
to look good, feel good and why not - enjoy life!
For close to sixteen years I have made it my life passion to
find ways to help you. I know how it is because I was you
once. When you have lived with migraines, shoulder pain,
bronchitis (yep that was my life once) helping others
becomes something natural you want to do.
Being called The Healthy People Expert is kind of a strange
thing since I spend my days helping people improve their
health through acupuncture, homeopathy, herbs just to name a
few of the modalities I am skilled in.

Is Health And Wellness Elusive?
Acupuncture is not only moving across the USA but the
world. As people move away from modern medicine with it's
surgeries and antibiotics communities are looking to
Acupuncture, Homeopathy, Essential Oils, Oriental Medicine,
Herbs, Nutrition, and Energy Medicine for health and
wellness.
Accent On Health brings you closer to understanding the
emerging science behind the ancient healing that spanned the
globe thousands of years before western medicine formulated
it's first synthetic pill. yet opens the door to?
integration of ancient healing science with modern medical
procedures.
The more holistic approaches are giving you back your
wellness helping you live longer, feel vibrant, and look
younger.
Dr. Deb has practiced alternative medicine for 16 years
starting as a classical homeopath and moving into the world
of Oriental Medicine also called acupuncture though it is so
much more. She is one of the only a few "Vedic
Acupuncturists" in North America.
"Vedic Acupuncture" is thought to be the oldest form of
acupuncture and uses massage, gentle traction, essential
oils as part of the treatment. Vedic Acupuncture is said to
provide quicker healing, be painless, and amazing in its'
rejuvenation of the mind and body.
Though we will never know for sure where acupuncture
originated we can trace the use of acupuncture and oils back
some 7,000 years ago in India and Egypt. A small sampling of
some of these early teachings are listed under acupuncture.
Who is Acu-Doc-Deb
Debra
Arko is a licensed acupuncturist with the state of Colorado,
a member of the (NCCOAM) National Certification Commission
for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, a member of the
American Naturopathic Medical Association and the National
Speakers Association bringing health and wellness services
and education to individuals and organizations alike.
Her goal is to help as many people as possible establish
wellness in their life without giving up living. Debra
intense research into the very beginnings of body-mind
medicine lead her to discover ancient teachings from India
and Egypt. These rare teachings provide the amazing healing
process of Essential Oil Acupuncture.
Though Essential Oil Acupuncture is also found in China and
other parts of Asia it is rarely used in the United States
by acupuncturists as it speeds the healing time and means
that the patient experiences health quicker than traditional
treatments. Debra's personal philosophy is heal the patient
and empower them to live in wellness not illness.
